When is the resort open?
The resort is open year-round.
Are there any motorcoach requirements?
Palm Beach Motorcoach Resort caters exclusively to Class-A and Super-C owners. All coaches must be a minimum of 30 feet in length. While we do have a 10-year or newer motorcoach age requirement, we also have a pride of ownership exception. If your coach is in excellent condition and over 10 years old, we will require photos of your coach to approve it under our Pride of Ownership Exception.
Do you have on-site storage for boats, trailers, tow dollies, etc.?
No, the resort does NOT have on-site boat/trailer storage, but arrangements can be made at a nearby, gated location. Pick-up and delivery will be arranged by the office for $25 each way plus $10 per night. Monthly discounts can be arranged.
What amenities are available at Palm Beach Motorcoach Resort?
Our 6,200 sq. ft. clubhouse features an infinity heated swimming pool, hot tub, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a luxurious function room with a separate bar area, warming kitchen, state-of-the-art fitness facility, pickleball courts, bocce courts, two card rooms, billiards room, and laundry facilities. At the Palm Beach Motorcoach, your living space extends beyond your motorcoach and is ideal for all-day relaxation and on-site events.
Do you have on-site activities and events?
We offer a full range of scheduled activities, including catered events, socials, motorcoach rallies, industry events, sports and fitness classes, and more!
Where is Palm Beach Motorcoach located?
Our resort is located in the heart of Palm Beach County, a world-class destination. We are within easy reach of local activities and attractions, including pristine beaches, culture, upscale restaurants, and shopping! The GPS coordinates are N 26 degrees 56’39”, W 80 degrees 12’29”.
Individual Sites
What features are available on the sites?
Each site has premium brick pavers, 50-amp electric service hook-up for the coach (200 total amp service for the site), water, sewer, and high-speed internet. Some sites will also include additional amenities like pergolas, tiki huts, outdoor kitchens, propane fire pits, furnishings, etc.
What are the dimensions of each pad and the sites?
Each standard pad measures 21 1/2′ x 65′; improved lots can vary. A standard-size unit measures approximately 38′ X 90′. Lot sizes range from 3,420 sq. ft. to over 10,000 sq. ft.
Ownership
Do you have sites available for purchase?
Ownership opportunities are available. View our current listings here (link to ownership page) or call us at 561-741-1555. The condo dues are $547.33 a month and are billed quarterly at $1,642. Annual taxes will be approximately $2,600 – $5,200, depending on size, location, and site upgrades.
Am I permitted to customize and improve my site with permanent structures?
Owners are encouraged to customize and improve their sites with options such as Coach cottages, additional pavers for patios and extended motorcoach pads, outdoor structures such as pergolas, tiki huts, outdoor kitchens, and additional landscaping. All improvements are subject to Architectural Review Committee (ARC) review and approval.
As an owner, may I rent my site when it is not in use?
Owners are welcome to participate in our rental management program with a 60/40 split. Site improvements are encouraged and are known to increase value and desirability.
How does ownership work?
Each lot is individually owned, while all common areas, such as streets, buildings, and amenities, are owned in common by all lot (unit) owners through the Condominium Association.
Are there additional owner’s fees?
Owners are responsible for the following:
- HOA fees billed $1,642.00 quarterly
- Taxes (billed directly by Palm Beach County)
- Electricity (billed directly by FloridaPowerand Light)
- Liability insurance for coach, site & vehicle
Are there any Protective Covenants?
Yes, a copy of the complete set of CC&Rs can be digitally emailed upon request.
What is the purchase process for a lot and/or coach cottage?
- Our sales team will work with you to prepare a purchase agreement. A 20% deposit is required.
- Closing is typically 3-4 weeks from the date of the contract.
Once I purchase the lot, what do I need to do to get my lot improved?
- Design your overall site plan.
- Submit your site plan to the ARC for approval.
- Submit any plans to Palm Beach County that are required to have permitting.
What are the size requirements for a coach cottage?
The structure size can be up to 200 square feet.
What is the setback requirement for structures from the street and rear of the lot?
The building setback is front 15 feet, back 25 feet from the landscape buffer, and sides 1 to 3 feet. All are site plan specific. Requests for exceptions should be submitted to the Architectural Review Committee(ARC) for review and approval.
What is the price of a finished cottage?
Prices vary greatly based on the plan’s square footage and the type of finishes selected. Once you submit your design to the ARC for approval your builder can best discuss the cost to build.
When can I begin construction of my coach cottage?
Coach Cottage Construction can begin after you close on the purchase of your lot unless it is during our high season (December–April). The ARC and county must approve the design. Permits need to be obtained before construction, along with a copy of the current business license and insurance of all contractors/subcontractors.
